Cheryl Cunningham is the executive director of the Chester Education Foundation, a private nonprofit agency in Chester, Pennsylvania, and a professional associate of Management Development.

Ms. Cunningham has lead educational projects in child care, violence prevention, family health, and after-school programming. She has developed child care cooperatives; assisted families with welfare benefits, affordable housing, job training and employment; tutored developmentally challenged adults; and worked with school districts to enhance services for gifted, at-risk, and non-English- speaking students. Recently she conducted training in program sustainability for the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. She has acted as project mobilizer for several public-private, joint ventures in Delaware County, including the Communities That Care, and Weed and Seed Initiatives. In 2005 she completed a fellowship with the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute at Bryn Mawr College.

Ms. Cunningham earned a B.A. in psychology from Temple University, an M.A. in management from Widener University, and has completed course work in Widener’s doctoral program in education.
