Janetta DeOnna is the project director of the Center for Professional Personnel Development at Penn State, and a professional associate of Management Development.
Ms. DeOnna brings a unique blend of experience to Management Development from her work as project director for the Professional Personnel Development Center at Penn State and as professional trainer in the Human Resource Development Center. She has experience in program coordination, development and delivery, training, facilitation, conference planning, professional development, and organizational development. Her 12 years of nursing experience, covering surgery, IV therapy, medical, mental health, and case management aspects of health care afford her the “real world” experience and practical understanding that is evident in the programs she develops and leads. With certifications in instructional development from Ohio State University and facilitator certification from Penn State, and Ohio State University, she possesses the academic understanding and practical experience to create highly interactive and effective programs for adults.
Ms. DeOnna earned a B.A. in psychology from West Virginia University, an M.Ed. in health education from Penn State, an A.D. in nursing from Salem College, and a degree in workforce development from Penn State. She also serves as a project director in the Penn State Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
