Mick Blasik is a professional associate for Management Development. He joined Penn State Management Development Programs and Services part-time in 2003.

For more than 15 years, Mr. Blasik has helped hundreds of clients conduct strategic and tactical planning sessions that leverage technology to bring maximum results in minimal time. He has experience in both software collaboration technology and advanced planning methodologies. His clients have included IBM, Disney, Pfizer, and Penn State. Mr. Blasik also spent 10 years at IBM, where he held the position of project manager for the development of the IBM/GroupSystems project.

In addition to his part-time appointment at Penn State, Mr. Blasik is founder and principal of Collaborative Strategies, Inc., a company specializing in innovative collaboration processes and electronic meeting tools.

Mr. Blasik earned a B.S. in business management from Point Park College, an M.S. in computer science from the State University of New York, and an M.S. in finance from Carnegie-Mellon University.
